Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Photographed in Prison for the First Time Since His Conviction — Photos

Gone are the designer suits and red carpets as newly surfaced prison photos of the rapper reveal a startling transformation that has the internet buzzing.

Before the mugshots, the last public image many had of Sean “Diddy” Combs was one of luxury, dominance, and polish — a man commanding rooms, red carpets, and headlines. But that carefully curated façade has shattered, replaced by sobering new images that show the music mogul as he’s never been seen before.

As soon as the photos surfaced, the internet lit up with commentary. On Instagram, reactions ranged from supportive to stunned.“glad to see him holding up. hopefully he comes out a stronger and wiser person [sic],” one viewer wrote. Another remarked, “No hair dye, no Botox, no fillers, no caretakers…wow!”

Another observed“No hair dye in jail 🤷🏽‍♂️,” while a separate commenter offered encouragement, “Diddy spend your time wisely and come back a better person than before…..💪🏿💯.”

The photos in question show Combs in standard prison-issued attire — a gray sweatshirt, matching sweatpants, a beanie, and a dark jacket. He stands casually in what appears to be a prison yard, talking with other inmates.

According to CNN on October 31, 2025, the 55-year-old is currently incarcerated at Fort Dix, a low-security federal prison in New Jersey. He was transferred there after spending 13 months in pre-sentence custody at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center.

Earlier this year, Combs was convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution and sentenced to 50 months in prison. He specifically requested Fort Dix to join its drug treatment program and stay closer to family.

With time already served and potential program credits, his projected release date is May 8, 2028, according to the Bureau of Prisons. His legal team has filed an appeal and requested expedited proceedings.

Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed that Combs has applied for a presidential pardon, though no decision has yet been announced.

Fort Dix has played host to its share of headline-making inmates, including “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Joe Giudice. Inside the commissary, it reportedly offered rice cakes for $5.75, white tuna for $3.75, and Pop-Tarts for $2.85.

But one item is conspicuously absentapplesauce, which, according to courtroom testimony, Combs once adored and even slathered on cheeseburgers.

The prison photos come as Combs’ criminal case concluded in federal court.

He was sentenced on Friday, October 4, to four years and two months behind bars, a stunning fall triggered by charges that he transported individuals across state lines for sexual encounters.

The sentencing brought to a close a long-running federal case marked by graphic and disturbing testimony. It signaled a dramatic legal downfall for one of hip-hop’s most powerful figures.

Combs’ federal trial in Manhattan had stretched nearly two months. During that time, emotional accounts were delivered by multiple women, who described being subjected to physical assaults, threats, sexual abuse, and blackmail at his hands.

During sentencing, prosecutor Christy Slavik warned the court that showing leniency would downplay years of violence and exploitation. She said Combs had used power and control as weapons, pursuing his own desires at the devastating expense of others.

In the end, the court convicted him under the Mann Act — a federal statute that bars transporting individuals across state lines for illegal sexual activity. His attorney, Jason Driscoll, pushed back, insisting the law had been misapplied in Combs’s case.

Combs had already served a year behind bars. With that time credited, he faced just over three more years before walking free. In July, a jury convicted him of arranging flights for girlfriends and male sex workers, trips that reportedly spanned years and involved drugs and coercion.

But in a dramatic turn, jurors acquitted him of the most serious charges: sex trafficking and racketeering, counts that carried the threat of life in prison but ultimately didn’t hold up in court.

Prosecutors pushed for a sentence of more than 11 years, but Combs’ defense team fought for immediate release. They argued his time in custody had already sparked remorse and a shift toward sobriety.

U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian delivered the sentence and imposed a $500,000 fine, the maximum allowed by law. He questioned why the misconduct had gone on for so long, noting that Combs had both the power and resources to sustain it, and only stopped once he was finally caught.

The judge praised the accusers who testified, saying they gave a voice to others and stood up to a powerful figure. He said their testimony spoke for countless other victims who had suffered in silence.

During Friday’s sentencing, Combs broke down in tears as he addressed the court. The music mogul looked directly at the judge, expressed deep regret for his actions, and delivered a personal apology. He also thanked the court for giving him the chance to finally speak.

In a key moment, Combs turned his apology toward singer Cassie Ventura, his former partner. “I want to apologize again to Cassie Ventura for any harm I caused to her, emotionally or physically. I don’t take that lightly,” he said. He described his own behavior as “disgusting, shameful, and sick,” acknowledging the gravity of the case and its impact.

“I’m not this larger-than-life person,” he said. “I’m just a human being.” Combs told the court he was overwhelmed by guilt and remorse. “I hate myself right now,” he added. “I’ve been stripped down to nothing. I’m really truly sorry for it all, no matter what they say.” After months of silence, his statement marked a rare and emotional display of public regret.

Attorneys for Ventura issued a statement, acknowledging that “nothing can undo the trauma caused by Combs.” They said the sentence matched the severity of his crimes and the damage he had inflicted.

Inside the courtroom, emotions ran high as Combs turned to his family and quietly said“I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” before officers led him away. His legal team confirmed plans to appeal the conviction. Defense lawyer Marc Agnifilo argued that the judge had gone beyond his rolesuggesting he acted like “a 13th juror,” and second-guessed the jury’s verdict.

Before the sentence was handed down, Combs’ defense team played a video spotlighting his family life, career, and charity work. The footage showed him delivering inspirational talks to children, laughing with his kids, and even running a marathon to raise funds for education.

In a plea for leniency, Combs begged for a chance to be a father again, a son, and a leader in his community. He apologized to those he had hurt, admitting to what he called his “disgusting, shameful” actions. He said the weight of his domestic violence would haunt him for life.

His children took the stand and made emotional appeals directly to the judge. Six of his seven children addressed the court, each describing the deep personal toll the case had taken on their family. His daughter, D’Lila Combsbroke down in tears as she spoke about the loss of her mother, Kim Porter, in 2018.

“Please, your honor, please,” she pleaded, begging the court to give their family a chance to heal together and move forward, away from the relentless glare of public scrutiny.

Sean “Diddy” Combs, once a towering figure in the music industry, was sentenced to over four years in prison on Friday, closing a case that exposed years of abuse shielded by wealth, fame, and silence.

Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs was sentenced on Friday, October 4, to four years and two months in prison. The charges stemmed from transporting individuals across state lines for sexual encounters.

The sentencing concludes a lengthy federal case marked by graphic testimonies. It also marks a major legal downfall for one of hip-hop’s most prominent figures.

Combs’ federal trial in Manhattan lasted nearly two months and included emotional testimony from multiple women. They described enduring physical assaults, threats, sexual abuse, and blackmail at his hands.

During sentencing, prosecutor Christy Slavik argued that leniency would minimize years of violence and exploitation. She said the case centered on a man who harmed others to serve his own desires, using power and control as tools that left lasting damage on his victims.

Combs was ultimately convicted under the Mann Act, a federal law prohibiting the transportation of individuals across state lines for illegal sexual activity. His defense attorney, Jason Driscoll, countered that the statute had been wrongly applied in his client’s case.

Combs, 55, has already served one year in jail. With time served, he could be released in just over three years. In July, Combs was convicted of arranging flights for girlfriends and male sex workers.

The encounters reportedly took place over many years and involved drugs and coercion. The jury also acquitted him of more serious charges: sex trafficking and racketeering counts, which could have meant life in prison but did not hold up in court.

The judge also praised the accusers who testified, saying they had given a voice to others and stood up to a powerful figure. He described their testimony as representing many more victims who had endured abuse in silence.

These 30 Photos Say It All About Diddy’s Relationship with His Ex, Who Suddenly Died at 47 – Her Kids Can’t Stay Silent Anymore

The rapper’s relationship with the late model was described by some as troubled. After her passing, stories about their romance and the details of her death surfaced, which their children firmly denied in a detailed public statement.

Diddy, real name Sean Combs, had an on-and-off relationship with model and actress Kim Porter for over ten years before they finally ended things. Their widely followed romance often drew media attention, with some alleging that he had been physically abusive.

Diddy and Kim, who started seeing each other in the ’90s, had a stormy relationship through the years. They had three children together — twin daughters Jessie James and D’Lila Combs, and son Christian Combs. Kim also had a son, Quincy Brown, from her earlier relationship with Al B. Sure!.

Their relationship hit a rough patch in 1999 when they broke up and later found themselves in court over child support for Christian. During that time, Diddy was also in a two-year relationship with Jennifer Lopez before he and Kim reconciled in 2003.

In July 2007, a spokesperson for Diddy confirmed that he and Kim were no longer together after ten years. Around that time, someone close to Kim shared that she had left the apartment they once shared.

She moved into a new place in Los Angeles with her children. Reports added that the mother of four had also purchased a home in Beverly Hills after leaving Diddy’s New York City residence.

After moving out, Kim later explained why she waited for Diddy to be away before leaving. She packed up everything, including the cars and nursery furniture, because she knew he wouldn’t let her go otherwise. The actress added that she needed to make a bold move so he would understand she was serious:

“I wanted him to know I wasn’t breaking up with him for two weeks — or maybe leaving for two days. If I pack up everything — twins and all — it means I’m out!”

Kim believed that Diddy responded more to actions than words, so she felt a bold move was necessary. In her view, simply telling him she was leaving would not have been enough.

Right after sharing why she packed up and left, Kim also opened up about what made her end the relationship. She said that rumors of Diddy having a child with someone else played a role.

But more than that, she wanted a new direction for her life. Kim said she had given ten years, raised their children, and stood by him, but now it was time to focus on herself and what she wanted for her future.

Before their split, more insight into their relationship came out during a feature in Essence. In the interview, Diddy said he wasn’t ready to get married:

“I know she deserves to get married, but I’m just not ready. It’s not a reflection on how much I love Kim. It’s that I’m just learning how to be a good boyfriend.”

Kim also spoke about their family life, “He could be a little more attentive to his family, but I understand who he is and what that requires of him.” She noted that Diddy worked hard to give them the best.

While the Georgia native recognized Diddy’s dedication to their family, her views on their future together were clear. When asked if she would marry him, she answered:

“I would say ‘No.’ And not because I don’t want to get married, but because he’s not ready to get married”

It wasn’t because she didn’t believe in marriage, but because she felt he wasn’t ready. Kim explained that when she got married, she wanted it to last. For her, both people needed to want the same things and let go of old habits. She didn’t think Diddy was prepared to make that kind of promise.

Some years later, tragedy struck. In November 2018, Kim was found dead in her home at the age of 47. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office said they responded to a call in Toluca Lake, California, and found her unresponsive. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Family members said Kim had gone to bed early the night before because she wasn’t feeling well. When they checked on her the next morning, she didn’t wake up. According to reports, she had been sick for days with either the flu or pneumonia and had been getting fluids and vitamins to help her recover.

Years after Kim’s passing, new details about her relationship with Diddy began to surface. According to former Bad Boy rapper Mark Curry, things between them were far from easy. “I remember Kim used to go through a lot of stuff,” he said.

Quincy Taylor Brown

Quincy, born in June 1991, is Diddy’s stepson and the son of the late actress and model Kim Porter. Kim shared a long, on-and-off relationship with the music mogul that lasted 13 years.

“I’m my mom’s son, so therefore there’s so much life for me to expand on off of her life. And that journey hasn’t even started yet, which is the best part about it. What my mom’s legacy is representative of is beyond words. That’s gonna really come to life soon,” he said in an interview once.

In another interview, the New York native said he learned a lot just by watching Diddy work, calling himself a “sponge.” The 34-year-old actor and singer added:

“One of my passions, I’m very much into the art of acting, and then there’s music. But just seeing how he’s able to handle and juggle all these things, I took that from him as my most major takeaway.”

Ava Baroni Combs

Ava, known as Diddy’s bonus child, was once introduced by him in a video where he encouraged her to share how he had “adopted” her. She said he saw her on the street, invited her to join his kids, and later claimed he wanted her to have a “Black parent.”

However, reports later clarified that Diddy never legally adopted her. Sources revealed that Ava has her own parents, who were close friends with Kim, and she grew up around D’Lila and Jessie. While she stayed connected with the twins, Diddy never held a legal or ongoing parental role in her life.
